The agreement between you and Bithaus, written the way we build the app: plainly, and without hiding anything. Please read it before you buy or use Bithaus. It matters more than usual here, because the MoneyHaus add-on can touch real money.
This box is a summary for speed. The full terms below are what actually govern.
"Bithaus", "we", "us" and "our" mean the software product Bithaus and the person operating it. "You" means the person or business that buys, downloads, or uses Bithaus. By buying, downloading, installing, or using Bithaus or the MoneyHaus add-on, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to enter a binding contract where you live, to use Bithaus. If you use it for a business, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for that business.
When you buy Bithaus, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Bithaus on Macs that you own or control, for your own use. That includes tinkering with it, extending it, adding your own tools, and connecting your own agents or fleet, on your own machine.
What the license does not allow, unless we agree in writing:
You own anything you create with Bithaus. We keep all rights in Bithaus itself.
Bithaus is a one-time purchase in US dollars. MoneyHaus is an optional add-on with its own one-time price. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. The price at checkout is what you pay, plus any tax that applies to you.
Bithaus is downloadable software, and you receive the full app, including its source, the moment your download and license are issued. Because that cannot be handed back, all sales are final once your download or license has been delivered, except where a refund is required by law. In good faith: if the app genuinely will not install or activate for you and we cannot fix it, contact us and we will make it right, up to and including a refund at our discretion. "I changed my mind after downloading the code" is not a refund case.
MoneyHaus is an optional add-on that connects your own accounts, wallets, and keys, on your own Mac, so your companion can watch your money and, when you allow it, act on it. Please be clear on what it is and is not:
If you are not comfortable owning that risk, keep MoneyHaus in watch or paper mode, or do not use it.
Bithaus is built to run locally. Your keys, balances, positions, history, and the things your companion sees on your Mac stay on your Mac. They are not uploaded to Bithaus, and we do not sell your data to anyone.
The only data on our side is what is needed to run your account and deliver the app: your email, license and purchase status, and download and update access. We use Stripe to take payment and an email provider to send account and login messages; their handling of that data is covered by their own privacy policies. If we publish a separate, fuller privacy policy, it will live alongside these terms.
Bithaus works with AI models and outside services that you choose and configure, such as your Claude plan, your own agents, and any accounts you link. Those services have their own terms, availability, and costs, which are between you and them. We are not responsible for their uptime, their charges, or their output. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, so check anything important before you act on it, especially where money or your system is involved.
Bithaus is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Bithaus will be error-free or uninterrupted, that it will meet your needs, or that any result, financial or otherwise, will be achieved. You run software that manages your Mac and can trade, and you accept that responsibility.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bithaus and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, trading or investment losses, lost data, or system problems, arising out of or connected to your use of Bithaus or MoneyHaus, even if we were told such damages were possible. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you actually paid for Bithaus and MoneyHaus. Some places do not allow some of these limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law permits.
Do not use Bithaus to break the law, to harm or defraud anyone, or to get around these terms. Do not reverse-engineer or decompile Bithaus in order to redistribute it or strip its protections. You are responsible for what you do with the app and with the accounts and agents you connect to it.
We may improve the app over time and may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top and post the new version here; continuing to use Bithaus after that means you accept it. Your license ends automatically if you break these terms, particularly by redistributing the app or its code. You can end it any time by uninstalling and deleting Bithaus. The sections that by their nature should survive, such as license limits, trading responsibility, no-warranty, and liability, survive after the license ends.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the courts located in Alberta, Canada have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law where you live gives you rights that cannot be overridden.
Questions about these terms? Email brandon@profitpivot.ca and we will get back to you.
This page is written in plain English so you can actually read it. It is still a binding agreement. If anything here conflicts with a right the law gives you where you live, the law wins for that part, and the rest stays in force. Nothing on this page is legal or financial advice.
